Angle of Repose Tester (Rest Angle Tester)

Measurement Principle

Powder sample is poured into a stainless steel funnel (with optional stirring).

The powder flows onto a flat platform and forms a conical pile.

Measure the height of the pile using a height gauge.

Calculate the angle of repose using the formula:

where:

θ\thetaθ = angle of repose

hhh = cone height

ddd = base diameter of the powder cone
