The Fully Automatic Rapid Halogen Moisture Analyzer is designed for fast and precise determination of sample moisture. It uses a circular halogen lamp as the heating source. Halogen gases such as iodine or bromine are injected into the infrared lamp. During high-temperature testing, they chemically react with the sublimated tungsten filament and re-condense on the filament to achieve a balanced state, ensuring long-term stable operation of the halogen lamp.
This moisture analyzer operates on the thermogravimetric principle. Leveraging its highly accurate weighing system, it continuously displays sample weight, moisture content, and solid content during the test. After drying is complete, the results are locked, displayed, and can be stored within the instrument. The instrument also shows real-time drying time, temperature, and heating mode during the measurement.
Compared with traditional oven methods, this fully automatic rapid halogen moisture analyzer requires smaller sample amounts, shorter drying times, and is simple to operate. Its measurement results show excellent agreement with national standard oven methods, making it a reliable alternative.

Press the zero button to tare the balance. Place the sample evenly on the sample pan.
Close the heating chamber and press the “Start Drying” button. During heating, the screen displays the current moisture content (%). Press the switch button to display solid content (%) and final dried weight (g).
After measurement, the instrument beeps automatically. Press “Stop” to end the test. The results screen displays moisture content, solid content, and dried weight. Press “Zero” to return to weighing mode.
Press “Save” to store the results in the instrument.
Wait for the instrument to cool to room temperature before testing the next sample.
Carefully read the user manual before use. Do not operate under unsuitable environmental conditions.
Ensure adequate space around the instrument to prevent heat accumulation and overheating.
Do not place flammable materials near the instrument as the heating unit generates high temperatures.
Samples and the heating chamber remain hot after testing. Handle with care to avoid burns.
The halogen heating element can reach 400°C during operation. Do not touch or open it. Disconnect power and wait until fully cooled if necessary.
For samples containing toxic elements, only perform heating in a well-ventilated environment.
The halogen moisture analyzer is strictly for moisture measurement. Using it for other purposes may cause injury or damage the instrument.
