The Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) is designed to analyze the thermal effects and corresponding temperatures of physical or chemical changes in organic and inorganic materials under programmed temperature control.
It can measure melting point, enthalpy changes, and other thermal parameters of samples, and can also determine the onset of auto-oxidation at ambient conditions to evaluate thermal stability. The instrument is widely used in plastics, rubber, coatings, and polymer materials.
