The coating of aluminum alloy wheels is the same as that of the car body, which first develops from paint to powder primer and then sprays topcoat. Metal powder and transparent base powder have different densities, so they are easy to separate. The disadvantage of "zebra crossing" and recycled powder being too different and difficult to use often occurs. Therefore, the transparent base powder is heated to a temperature close to the glass transition temperature in the bonding machine, and then the metal effect pigment is added. Under the action of temperature, the metal effect pigment and transparent powder are bonded together. This is the special glitter metal powder for aluminum alloy wheels.

It mainly forms a carbamate bond through the reaction of hydroxyl (R-OH) and isocyanate (R-N=C=O) to obtain good oil resistance. Special powder for automobile fuel tanks can prevent gasoline from accidentally splashing on the fuel tank during refueling and causing corrosion.
